This weekend, Team Surrey Athletics & Cross Country will be competing in the 2019 BUCS Nationals Outdoor Athletics Competition.
The team will be heading to Bedford where they will compete in a range of events over the course of three days, some of which could earn the club indispensable BUCS points.
Track captain and Sports Scholar Hannah Irwin says “I’m really excited for BUCS outdoors this year. I’ve been training hard, and can see the hard work paying off, so I’m looking forward to getting on the track and seeing what I can do over the 5000m distance.”
The lineup is as follows:

Will Harding – 1500m
Lauren Talbot & Michael Slavin – 100m
Abi Lofts – 100m Hurdles
SUNDAY
Jamie Stone – 400m
4 x 100m Relay team
4 x 400m Relay team
MONDAY
Hannah Irwin – 5000m
Alexa Eichelmann – Pole Vault
