SurreyMoves+ to host cycling pop-up event at Surrey Sports Park!

SurreyMoves+ is partnering with Geared Up Cycles to host a pop-up event at Surrey Sports Park on Tuesday 26th October 2021 which is open to everyone, including University of Surrey students and staff.

Geared Up will be hosting one of their Dr Bike sessions between 11am-2pm which provides the opportunity for cyclists to have their bike checked free of charge to ensure it is road-ready and safe to use.

Whether you use your bike regularly, to get to work, or just as a leisure ride at the weekend, you can drop in at this session to get any niggles fixed or just to have a chat about cycling with the Geared Up and SurreyMoves+ team.

Also at the event, you can win a Geared Up voucher through a challenge led by the Surrey Sports Park fitness team, while you can also hop on Geared Up’s smoothie bike to pedal your way to creating your own smoothie.

The SurreyMoves+ team will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the app and how you can make the most of it to become part of our active community and earn some fantastic rewards in the process.

The pop-up event will be taking place just outside the Surrey Sports Park entrance between 11am-2pm on Tuesday 26th October. There is no need to book a slot – just pop by and say hello!
