CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF SURREYMOVES+

It’s now been just over a year since we launched the SurreyMoves+ platform and we’d like to thank you for joining us on the journey! We hope you have enjoyed being part of our active community, tracking your physical activity and redeeming rewards during that time. Here’s a snapshot look at the statistics from our first year on the Moves+ app…

CYCLING POP-UP EVENT

SurreyMoves+ is partnering with Geared Up Cycles to host a pop-up event at Surrey Sports Park on Tuesday 26th October 2021 which is open to everyone, including University of Surrey students and staff.

Geared Up will be hosting one of their Dr Bike sessions between 11am-2pm which provides the opportunity for cyclists to have their bike checked free of charge to ensure it is road-ready and safe to use.

Also at the event, you can win a Geared Up voucher through a challenge led by the Surrey Sports Park fitness team, while you can also hop on Geared Up’s smoothie bike to pedal your way to creating your own smoothie!

THE 'FINDING YOUR FEET' GROUP

THE 'FINDING YOUR FEET' GROUP

We have just launched a new ‘Finding Your Feet’ group on SurreyMoves+ for users who are looking to gradually increase their exercise. The group will have varying levels of challenges which will be changing weekly!

Within this group, you can now find the Couch to 5k challenge; a programme to help you gradually build up your endurance.
