Surrey Rowers Selected For Great Britain Universities

With the World University Rowing Championships taking place in Shanghai, China from 10 - 12 August, Great Britain have announced their squad selection, including two University of Surrey Students.

Harry Glenister and George Stewart of Team Surrey Boat Club have both been selected for the squad in the M2- and M4- categories respectively.

The 2017 World University Rowing Championships saw the British team pick up the gold medal, and Stewart will be hoping to repeat the previous teams' success.

The announcement marks another great achievement in 2018 for Team Surrey Boat Club, as they picked up Gold in M2- at the BUCS Regatta in May, with Stewart rowing alongside Ali Douglass.

2018 has also seen Sam Tuck, Head Coach of the Team Surrey Boat Club awarded the prestigious UK Coaching young Coach of the Year.
