Applications now open for Forever Surrey Fund!

Applications are now open for the Forever Surrey Fund which provides crucial support to clubs and societies by issuing funding which allows them to offer transformational experiences and boost our sporting achievements. 

Last year, we had 23 clubs and societies who received vital funding with these including Baseball & Softball who used their £500 to purchase batting tees, bases, and catchers’ gloves.

Sophie Wood, vice-president of Baseball & Softball 2022/23, said: “The fund has made a massive impact on the club, as we now have enough equipment to not only accommodate, but to also allow all members to train with high quality, match grade equipment.”

Meanwhile, Weightlifting purchased powerlifting competition standard barbell and plates with their £1,800 funding.

Sophia King-Mason from Weightlifting said: “Using our Eleiko bar and calibrated plates especially have helped me hugely in my lifting. Having access to competition standard equipment in all my training sessions has helped me be more comfortable and confident going into competitions, which is something I value highly.”
