MONTHLY STATISTICS
It was another bumper month of activity in April with the easing of lockdown meaning we were on the move a lot throughout the month. Our 134 new users in April takes the overall total to 2,835, while the reopening of swimming pools on April 12th means ‘metres swam’ is now included in our monthly statistics again!
FEEDBACK SURVEY
We’re always looking to improve our app by collecting maximum feedback from our users. Tells us your thoughts on SurreyMoves+ in this feedback survey and you could be in with a chance of winning a FitBit Inspire!
LATEST CHALLENGES
We launched two new strands of challenges at the start of the month with further challenges due to become live on the app during the month! Don’t forget there are also activity-specific challenges available within Groups throughout May.
Here’s an overview of what’s available…
#WALKTHISMAY CHALLENGES
May is National Walking Month so it’s the perfect opportunity to get outside and on the move! Our #WalkThisMay challenges ask you to walk an average of either 5,000, 7,000 or 10,000 steps a day this month.
Looking for some advice to help get on the move? Visit the Living Streets website for their #Try20 tips to help you fit 20 minutes of walking into your day!
MARATHON IN MAY
We’re challenging you to run the distance of a marathon or half-marathon in May! This can be completed in one go, two halves or multiple smaller runs.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK
Mental Health Awareness Week starts on May 10th and ‘Connect with Nature’ is the theme for this year. Nature is key to our psychological and emotional health so we hope these challenges help provide the motivation to get outdoors. We’ll have a range of walking, running, cycling and swimming challenges on the app during this week!
SURREYLOVES CHALLENGES
Our SurreyLOVES challenges are back for the May exam period to offer you the perfect break from studying. There will be achievable challenges available in walking, running and cycling!
