You will need a student number in order to purchase a Team Surrey membership online.
If you wish to purchase a direct debit membership, please come and visit us at Surrey Sports Park or email our memberships team to arrange your purchase.
If you are visiting Surrey Sports Park to purchase your membership, you will need to bring your student card.
We encourage all first year students to purchase memberships online as it can take up to 48 hours for your student card to go live on our systems.
This enables you to access any session on the Free Sport Programme and attend Team Surrey Trips. This membership is also required to book onto any PlaySport session or access SSP pay as you go facilities/classes. As a Pass holder, you also will benefit from discounts on the following activities:
You must purchase a Team Surrey membership in order to become a member of a club and attend sessions. This is a £50 membership which allows you to:
Attend your sport’s ClubSport session (you will also need to purchase your individual sports club membership via the Students’ Union website. Access to do so is available 48 hours after purchasing this membership)
Attend any advertised PlaySport session free of charge – although prior booking will need to be made via your Leisure Hub account before attending.
Whether you have signed up to this membership to gain access to ClubSport or PlaySport (or both!) sessions, this membership contributes to the following costs:
Providing a training venue (on or off-site)
Personal injury insurance
For those within ClubSport, the £50 membership also enables funds to be allocated to the club budget, which contributes to the following items:
Coaching hours
Competition entry fees and affiliations (*some competitions are excluded and your club committee will be aware).
